Learning Experience

At Starion, students follow our structured course sequence to accelerate their learning. We offer both private 1:1 classes, small group sessions and independent study, so that you can choose the option that best suits your needs.

Private

• Students work with a dedicated, recurring tutor on a weekly basis.

• Our tutors not only provide high-quality instruction, but also form relationships as role models and mentors to their students.

• At the start of each class, the tutor reviews homework and explains a new concept. Then, the student works on applying this concept to a project or problem set, while the tutor provides guidance as appropriate.

Regular

• Regular consists of 2 students per group.

• Students work through course material at their own pace using the CodingStar Learner Portal, and bring questions about concepts and projects to their scheduled online Group Sessions.

• During Group Sessions, a tutor checks each students' work, helps debug code, and assigns each student new material. Students share their work and discuss related questions with other students.

Solo (independent study)

• Students work through course material at their own pace using the CodingStar Learner Portal.
